Our Whanganui businesses play a huge part in supporting community groups like WSLS and year after year, we're appreciative of all the support both in time, goods & services. 

Over the years, we've collaborated with a large number of both local and national business to raise funds for WSLS. 

A couple of ways businesses can support WSLS:

Events

Over the past two years alone, WSLS has been lucky to have been involved in a number of fundraining events that have contributed to major projects within WSLS and on our beaches. 

• JJ Roofing Running of the Balls 2024
• NZME & Mitre 10 Mega Whanganui Charity Golf Tournament 2024 & 2025

The funds raised at these events has gone towards a number of high value projects such as:

• Castlecliff Beach Portable Patrol Tower
• Emergency Medical Equipment for both beaches 
• Training & Education for our Lifeguards (outside of SLSNZ programme.

Bequests

You can help by leaving a gift in your Will (a bequest) to Wanganui Surf Lifeguard Services Inc. It’s simple to do, and any gift, big or small, will make a difference.

Those who choose to remember Wanganui Surf Lifeguard Services Inc in their Will – will significantly contribute to the future operations of our charity and directly support future generations of surf lifeguards who give up their personal time to keep kiwis safe on the beach.
